The ZLED50-RS LED illuminator is a high intensity white light LED light source. The energy efficient white light LED light source allows for a much longer lifetime, with 10,000 hours of operation time. Harmful ultraviolet and infrared wavelengths are excluded from this visible light spectrum, allowing only visible light to be emitted. The ZLED50-RS utilizes a RS323 connector for simple computer communication. Simple operation methods of the LED light source permits easy integration into any existing configuration.

Simple operation methods and easy integration for various applications
The ZLED fiber illuminator can be easily integrated into an existing system. Power activation, brightness control, and can all be easily accessed by manually pressing the buttons on the front panel of the light source. The LED light source also has two options to supply input power; by using the AC power adapter or by directly connecting a DC power supply to the rear panel. The ZLED50-RS also utilizes a RS323 connector for simple and effective communication. The RS232 connection permits easier computer communication. High Intensity white LED light source with long lifetime
The ZLED50-RS utilizes a 60W white LED. Unwanted ultraviolet and infrared wavelengths, harmful to spectroscopy systems, are excluded from this system. Only visible light is emitted. Approximate lifetime for the light source is 30,000 hours. The structure of the fiber illuminate was designed to incorporate an integrated heat sink with a fan cooling system, allowing a higher power output under extensive time. Usage of high-power LED lamp beads and a unique condenser system greatly enhances the output power of the ZLED50-RS.
Versatile opto-mechanical interface
The ZLED50-RS can be easily integrated into existing setups and various applications. The LED light source has three methods of brightness control and adapter on the front panel that can accept light guides or free space optics using lens tube mount. Adapting the lens tube accessories, the user can extend to various applications.
The SM1 threaded lens tubes hold Ø1" (Ø25.4 mm) optics. The SM1 threading is compatible with 30 mm Cage System, which allows users to build complex optical setups with minimal setup time.
Flexible Light Guide Adaptor Option
The light guide adapter is not included with the ZLED50-RS. A suitable light guide can be inserted to the ferrule adapter of the light source which can be mounted on the front panel.
